This online program is an introduction to Sac State. Sunday, August 25: International and BIPOC Pre-Orientation Move-In (8am -12pm, scheduled times to be assigned) - Pre-Registration Required. New Student Orientation is framed by three learning pillars: The academic preparedness pillar equips students with the tools and knowledge to navigate Brown's Open Curriculum, and includes sessions exploring open inquiry, academic advising, course registration, First Readings, and more. Each FPOP has a different focus. We've also assembled a quick, online Pre-Orientation Program to ensure that you are prepared to have a productive New Student Orientation. During pre-orientation, you'll participate in leadership games and activities, take a trip to the Oregon coast and become familiar with campus alongside other first-generation students. The CPP Pre-Orientation modules are a self-paced online course, divided into three components: Module 1 will be available on May 1.
